ITW Polymers Devcon epoxy adhesive is a fast curing formula, specially designed by combining liquid resin and liquid hardener. The clear colored resin has slight odor and 1.17 specific gravity. The clear to slight yellow colored hardener has a mercaptan odor and a 1.13 specific gravity. This adhesive's resin part has a boiling point greater than 500 degrees F and a flash point greater than 400 degrees F while hardener has greater than 200 degrees F. The vapor pressure rating of hardener is less than 1 millimeter Hg while resin has 0.03 millibars. It has a viscosity of 10,000 centipoises with service temperature rating of -40 to 200 degrees F. This general-purpose adhesive takes 12 hours at 22.2 degrees C for complete curing and requires an application time of 3 to 6 minutes. It exhibits a peeling strength of 2 to 3 pli and a shear strength of 1900 psi.
