The DK120/DK140 beacons, have a field replaceable battery. To determine when your battery is due for replacement, locate the expiration date (the RBB date) on the label. If the beacon has a C code on the label, use the 8102008K Battery. If the beacon has a B or D code, use the 8102007K Battery. NOTE: This lithium battery cannot be shipped via commercial air carriers. Do not specify UPS Ground or FedEx Ground to Alaska or Hawaii, since they transfer to aircraft. Opening the DK120 for battery replacement requires the use of part number 810-325 Spanner Wrench.
