Henkel Loctite Hysol EA 9390 epoxy adhesive is specially designed with good wetting, high shear modulus, good hot/wet properties for composite repair. This adhesive has two-components like tan colored liquid part-A and blue colored liquid part-B, which should be mixed in 100:56 ratio by weight. The characteristic part-A has a flash point greater than 200 degrees F and mild part-B has a flash point greater than 199.4 degrees F. Part-A of the adhesive has a specification gravity of 1.22 and part-B has a specification gravity of 0.95. The vapor density is rated at greater than 1 for part-A. Density is rated at 1.22 grams per milliliter for part-A and 0.94 grams per milliliter for part-B. The part-B comes with a vapor pressure rating less than 0.1 millimeters Hg. Viscosity is rated at 940 poise for part-A and 0.9 poise for part-B. Both the part-A and part-B having less than 10 grams per liter contents evaporates quickly. This epoxy compound takes 220 minutes at 200 degrees F for curing. It withstands a tensile strength of 8200 psi at 77 degrees F and a shear strength of 3600 psi at 250 degrees F. The adhesive allows an elongation of 0.025 and has a tensile modulus of 418 ksi.
